Create your space
Sign up with your email and choose your pen name. Your space is named after you — if your pen name is GuardianLovers, your space becomes GuardianLovers' Space. Registration takes less than a minute, no card required.
Start a story
Create your first story and choose its type — Series, Standalone, or Poetry. Each type gets its own library view, so your different projects stay organized separately.
Set up the pieces around it
Add characters to Character Builder, sketch your chapters in Chapter Outline, or plot by act in Beat Sheet. Use as much or as little of this as your process actually needs — nothing is required before you can start writing.
Write your first chapter
Open the full-screen writing editor and draft. Your streak starts the moment you save. Every chapter, character, and idea lives in the same private space from here on.
Drop ideas as they come
Got a scene, a line, or a stray idea that doesn't belong to a chapter yet? Writing Dump holds it until it does — no more losing things in seventeen different apps.
Come back whenever you're ready
Some days you'll write thousands of words. Some days you'll just open the app and look at it. Your analytics dashboard shows your activity over time — not to pressure you, just so you can see your own rhythm.
