Privacy rights & requests
The current OurSpace Privacy Policy describes rights to access your data, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, export your writing in a portable format, and withdraw consent where applicable.
Send a privacy request
Email ourwritingspaceofficial@gmail.com from the email attached to your account when possible.
Include:
- your OurSpace username;
- your account email;
- the type of request: access, correction, deletion, export, or withdrawal of consent;
- enough detail to explain exactly what information or action the request covers.
Do not send your password, OTP, or other authentication secrets. Support may ask for reasonable verification before releasing or changing account data.
Response timing
The current policy states that OurSpace responds to these requests within 30 days.
Requests that involve deletion
Some records may need to be retained where the law requires it. The policy separately states that account closure triggers deletion of personal and writing data within 30 days, subject to those retention obligations.
Correcting ordinary profile information
For profile fields available in the app, you can first open your own profile, choose the three-dot Profile options menu, and select Edit profile. Use a formal privacy request when the information cannot be corrected through normal account settings or when you need a broader data-rights request.
